Needs for the Homeless ministry:
Below is a list of things we need for the homeless by December 2008. If you have read the Homeless Ministry page or have visited the Project care website, then you are aware of what we are doing here in Dallas. For those who do not know, my wife and I are the administrators of the foot washing area. There many areas that have need of donations, I encourage you to visit the Project Care website and see what you are able to give if the Lord has given you the grace to give.
2Co 9:6-10 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written, "He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.” He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. Foot washing area:
- SHOES- all sizes but especially work boots and tennis shoes sizes 8-12 men's 6-9 women's. Please no dress shoes if possible.
- Antibiotic hand soaps
- surgical gloves
- hand towels/ moist sanitary hand wipes
- Foot creams
- Socks! Lots of new socks men's and women's, white cotton preferably.
